Anticipation Grows as Glasgow, Home of Regenerate CBD, Set to Host Climate Change Conference

This autumn the world will be watching Glasgow, as it hosts the upcoming COP26 climate change summit.

The event, which has been years in preparation, will see over 120 dignitaries and heads of state travel to the West of Scotland to discuss what can be done about concerns over fossil fuels emissions and the effect they may be having on the planet. This ecological conference, taking place from the 31st of October to the 12th of November, is the biggest event of its kind since Paris six years ago.

The conference is being put together so experts, scientists, and world leaders such as the British Prime Minister, the President of the United States Joe Biden, former President Barack Obama, amongst other VIPs, will be coming to talk about what can be done to counter the effects of climate change,

It can be a controversial issue, where those on both sides can have strong views. However, you may feel about it, there is no doubt hosting a major conference such as COP26 has put Scotland at the centre of international geopolitics and shone a light on Glasgow.

The city, as well as being at the forefront of environmental causes, is also at the heart of healthy living, by being the home base of one of the top purveyors of CBD products on the market.

Glasgow is not only the site of a major international summit, but also the nerve centre of the Regenerate chain. We have branches across the UK, but it all started at our original site, at the legendary Blue Police Box on Buchanan Street, where we first did business three years ago.

We moved two years later and set up shop at our current address on Commence Street, as well as being a massive presence online. Regenerate CBD has also opened branches in Aberdeen, Dunfermline, and Edinburgh, alongside extending South of the border, in Liverpool and Nottingham and opening in Dublin and Cardiff.

We are constantly expanding our horizons, but it started at our original home in Glasgow. The upcoming COP26 may have put the city at the centre of world events, but it has always been at the vanguard of the CBD market. So, why not stop by our site in the City Centre and see where our journey began.
